Partners
Partners & commissions
Invite partners, give them tracked links or codes, and decide what they earn.
Partners
A partner is anyone you pay for sales: a creator, an affiliate, a customer referring friends, or an AI agent. Partners use Bridgly for free and have their own login, where they see their links, sales and earnings.
To add one: go to Links & Codes → Create, turn on Partner, and pick an existing partner or invite a new one by email. You can also see everyone under Partners.
Links and codes
- Links: short links on bridgly.co or your own domain. Each click is recorded and passes a click id to your site so the sale can be matched.
- Codes: a partner's discount code. A sale that used the code is credited to that partner, with or without a click.
- QR codes: for print and packaging. They work like links, and can also start an in-store session.
Commission
Go to Partners and click Create commission.
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Reward type | Percent of sale, or flat dollars per sale |
| Paid as | One-time per sale: only the first sale for each customer. Recurring: every sale, including subscription renewals |
| Hold days | Days a commission waits before it can be paid. Set it to your return window so refunds are taken back first |
Changing a commission creates a new version, so past sales keep the rate they earned.
Attribution window
A click counts for 90 days by default: if the shopper buys within that time, the partner gets credit. You can change it under Partners settings.
Refunds and disputes
A refund takes back the matching share of commission, and a dispute takes it all back. This applies even if the commission is still on hold.
Self-referral
If a partner buys through their own link (their email matches the customer's), the sale isn't credited.
